I nearly cried when I found out about this spot. So yes , it’s takes a while because everything is cooked when you order. This is not fast food this is authentic Salvadorian food. And their price is their price. Given that you’d have to drive SEVERAL miles to find the nearest authentic pupusas, I’m ok with the wait and $ spent here. Being a Latina in the area , I mean it when I say THANK YOU very much Mi Cafecito , for finally coming to this city and keeping our traditional foods and flavors alive in the community. I got 3 pupusas revueltas , a bistec encebollado plate , and plátanos with beans and cream. All very yummy. Total was $45.

Very extensive menu. Food was delicious. Service was over the top, very attentive and accommodating. Lots of menu items you don't see often, such as lots of yucca dishes.

I ordered 4 pupusas from this location, which were 2 revueltas and 2 bean and cheese pupusas. I haven't had them yet as they are going to take about 15-20 minutes for them to make them. I received my pupusas in the estimated time window and I decided to have my pupusas as takeout. They were extremely delicious! They were some of the best I’ve ever had and are certainly the best in town! Please try them out! The last page has wellness teas that will vary from the menu based on availability and as well as them adding other varieties. They only accept cash as of right now since they are waiting for their card machine to come in. They said it will take about 2 more weeks until they will be able to receive, set up and accept card payments. Also to note: This menu is currently being borrowed from their first location. I am sure that with time, they will have a new menu made for this new location since again they just opened up, and are short a person. I am excited overall to have a place as good as this here in Canyon Country, as Santa Clarita has been really lacking on pupusas, and I no longer go to Charcoal Chicken anymore which is one place that had good pupusas because they are B rated, and it is very hard to get a B from intel that I received from someone who works in the restaurant industry. I recommend people to keep an open mind about this place since it just opened up as they are very nice people with delicious food!

I ordered the chorizo con huevos and it was amazing. Food came out quickly and the owner is really nice. Food was fresh, portion was large, handmade tortillas were delicious. Will definitely be back. Hopefully they can get more staff to help in the front as there’s a bit of a wait for someone to come and greet you.

We had such a wonderful experience at Mi Cafecito! The service was phenomenal, the gentleman who took our order was so attentive and kind. I had a wonderful time talking to him. The food was also so incredible, we were even told they make their own cheese! Thank you so much to Mi Cafecito!!

I absolutely recommend! I ordered a desayuno; beans, eggs, queso, plátano, avocado , and carne asada with tortillas. 10 out of 10!! So good that I went back the next day and ordered it again! Thank you for your service! Keep in mind they have just recently opened there business, and are only taking "CASH ONLY" for the moment until they receive the system for card payments. I only seen 2 people in the front of house. An older gentleman taking the orders behind counter, and another gentleman cleaning tables and also helping take orders to tables or bagging for to-go. Now the older gentleman, who is taking orders at the register and I believe helping out in the kitchen, as well as preparing the orders; he has a cast or foot brace of some sort, and is in his store, answering phone orders, back in forth from kitchen to front to either take an order, packing an order to handing out an order. Kudos to him! Keep up the good work sir ! You and your crew are doing an impeccable job and I thank you!! Now, if you are an impatient person, high maintenanced, inconsiderate, and lack understanding, then this place is probably not for you right now. Don't pass this place up though! I said what I said. Sorry, not sorry! But let me say this the food is MOST DEFINITELY worth the wait, TRUST ME !! I can't wait to see this place fully come together! Will be back forsure in the meantime!
